I’m finally getting around to sharing some VERY belated reflections on the Revoice conference I went to in the USA a few months ago! I had the immense privilege of attending this year’s conference as conference staff/worship leader, and if you’ve had a real-life conversation with me at any point this year, you’ll know how much excitement I felt around this whole experience.
Lots of you have been chasing me up asking for my reflections on the conference, but how do I even begin summarise something like this in a short message? By the time I came back to Australia (after some WILD travel sagas!), my brain was exploding with so many thoughts to process from the whole experience that I literally couldn’t bring myself to write any kind of coherent reflection, so I decided to try freestyle debriefing on video instead. I then (characteristically) recorded these reflections and promptly forgot they existed for a few months until now (can you tell my brain’s been a bit stuffed this year?).
These two videos are just a fraction of my thoughts and feelings about the conference experience, and there are almost certainly things I’d say differently now with a bit more time to think about it… but for those who are interested, I thought I’d share these and see what discussions come from it.
